Kazakh Chai (kazakh Tea)

Combine the water, tea, cardamon, and fennel seeds in a large saucepan and simmer over low heat for 3 min. add the milk and 2 min. later, strain the tea into cups. Add sugar/honey.

  • 6 c Water
  • 6 ts Loose black tea
  • 6 Cardamon pods
  • 1 1/2 ts Fennel seeds
  • 3 c Milk
  • Sugar or honey to taste
