Preparation

Preheat the oven to 190 ºC. Grease a pie pan measuring 23 cm.
In a large bowl, beat the butter together with the sugar until it forms a cream. Add the egg yolks and continue to beat. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with the beaten egg yolks. Add the vanilla and milk, and again mix the ingredients well. In a separate bowl and with the help of a mixer or mixer, beat the egg whites - until you turn the bowl over and the whites do not fall. Gently mix the egg whites together with the dough. Pour the dough into the greased pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
In the preheated oven, bake the pie for 25 minutes. Then, lower the oven temperature to 170 ºC. Leave the pie to bake for another 25 to 30 minutes, or until the middle of the pie is firm. Serve hot or cold.
