Preparation

put hot water to the coconut to obtain 4 cups of milk when squeezed.

Mix the cornstarch with the salt, add the coconut milk and sugar, and cook over low heat, stirring continuously until thick.

add the vanilla essence, mix and place in a mold or dessert glasses. sprinkle with cinnamon.

cool well before serving.
