in a saucepan, cook the anise and salt in 1 cup of water. let it boil for a minute and add the baking soda and flour. off the heat and beat vigorously until flour is well mixed. let cool and add an egg; beat the mixture well and add another. like this until using them all. cover the dough and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
put in a pot, the oil and let it warm. Using a teaspoon, place the fritters in the hot oil one by one. fry at medium temperature. Take them out when they are golden. drain excess fat, on an absorbent paper towel.
serve with honey

- 1 1/4 cup flour (sifted)
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon anise grain
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
