Preparation

preheat the oven to 150º c. oil 2 baking sheets. Combine flour, oats, coconut, and sugar in a bowl. Mix the butter and the golden syrup (or honey) in a saucepan, put it on the fire and stir it until the butter is melted. Mix the bicarbonate with the boiling water and add the mixture to the previous one. add to the flour mixture and mix well. With a soup spoon, remove pieces of dough, giving them a ball shape. place on trays about 6 cm. One of another. bake for 15-20 minutes or until crisp and golden. remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes before removing from the tray.
Let cool before eating.

  • 125 gr. of butter,
  • 1 tablespoon of ´´golden syrup´´ (kind of liquid caramel made of sugar that is used on many occasions as a substitute for honey),
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda,
  • 2 tablespoons of boiling water.
