Preparation

After putting the chickpeas in water the night before, cook them for 50 minutes. they are passed through the masher and put in a bowl together with the mashed potatoes, beaten eggs and oregano, chopped onion, salt, pepper and flour and mix everything well. the croquettes are made and, after passing them through flour, they are fried in very hot oil until they are golden brown.
