beat the eggs with the sugar and work it (knead it with your hands) well; then add the extra virgin olive oil (2 tablespoons for each egg), the anise, the lemon juice and mix. When these ingredients are well mixed, add a few handfuls of flour and the yeast and knead again with your hands.
the next step is to put the dough on the table, add flour and knead until no more flour is allowed. (For your information we will tell you that for 4 eggs almost 1 kilo of flour is used) and, finally, we shape a donut and fry in plenty of extra virgin olive oil.
donuts are great for breakfast. or as an aperitif, accompanied by a sweet Andalusian wine.
