Preparation
sugar, raisins, plums, cinnamon and cloves are boiled in covering water. it is cooled and the liquor is added. remove everything leaving the syrup to cool.
The sponge cake is cut into pieces or diced and placed on deep trays, then moistened with the syrup. It is decorated with raisins and flower-shaped pills. dragees are added.
To make the cake, beat the whites well, add the yolks and then the sugar little by little.
finally, the flour well sifted, without beating, but wrapping it. Put in an ungreased mold, covered with white wrapping paper, and bake until light golden brown.

- 1 lb. raisin
- 1 lb. prunes
- 1 bottle of rum
- 1 bottle of dry sherry
- 1 bottle of muscat
- 3/4 lb. of sugar
- cinnamon sticks
- 12 cloves.
