Preparation

Cut the lamb into small pieces and cover with chopped onions and garlic and season with salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaves and white wine.
Marinate for about 4 hours. After the marinade time, place the meat on a tray, together with the marinade.
Add half the oil and bake at 200 ºC for about 35 to 40 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and the remaining onions in segments.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika and the remaining oil and bake at 200º for another 40 minutes.

Preparation of potatoes à Padeiro.

Potatoes can be added and roasted with the meat.
They can be cooked with peel, peeled and added at the end just to brown in the oven together with the lamb.
Another option, but more caloric, fried and added to the lamb at the end to dry a little and get the flavor of the roast.
For those with a large oven you can roast the potatoes separately.
Season the potatoes with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, olive oil) and add a little meat sauce!
Before serving, sprinkle with lemon juice!
In addition to the potatoes, you can accompany the lamb roasted in the oven with a mixed salad.
