Preparation

for the pudding:
soak the bread in the milk until it softens, then blend with all the ingredients. We pour the preparation into a ring mold buttered and covered with sugar or caramelized. We take to a moderate oven, for approximately 40 minutes, we test with a stick which should come out dry.
Unmold cold and bathe with the hot or warm blackberry sauce.

for the blackberry sauce:
Bring all the ingredients to a low heat for 20 minutes, stirring constantly, if you are going to use already prepared jam, just add vanilla.

Ingredients

  • for the pudding:
  • eight loaves of the previous day cut into pieces
  • a cup and a half of blackberries, fresh or in jam
  • a cup and a half of milk
  • three eggs
  • a glass of pisco or other liquor
  • one hundred grams of melted butter
  • sugar to taste
  • half a teaspoon lemon zest
  • for the blackberry sauce:
  • a cup of fresh or jammed blackberries
  • three-quarters cup of sugar
  • a teaspoon of vanilla
