form a dough by joining the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar and eggs. incorporate the softened butter and knead.
add small amounts of water if necessary. grind on floured board until dough is 1/2 cm. thick. cut 10 cm rectangles. by 5 cm. make a vertical cut of about 3 cm on them. and pass one end of the rectangle through this eyelet.
fry in hot oil. drain, put in a bowl with absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar ”.

note: broken calzones should not be too brown - with a long cooking time, they will be hard.

  • oil for frying
