Preparation

In a saucepan, bring the oil, onion, garlic and bay leaves to the heat.
Sauté without browning.

When the onion is tender, add the carrot.

Saute, again, until the carrot softens.

Add the rice.
Heat well until the rice is translucent.

Season with salt and add the water (2 and 1/2 of water to 1 of rice).

Stir, cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy your food!

  • 300g of rice
  • 2 large grated carrots
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf cut in half
  • 750 ml of water
  • Salt q.s.
