Preparation
step 1: clean the clams very well.
Step 2: put the finely chopped onion in a pot and let it brown, taking care not to burn it. Add the minced garlic and parsley and let them simmer. when they are almost done, add the paprika and bay leaf and let them finish cooking.
step 3: then add the white wine and flour. Stir well so that the flour does not form lumps and the sauce thickens.
step 4: add the clams. Season with salt and a little white pepper and boil for a few minutes, stirring so that they open.
step 5: add a little water if necessary so that at the end the sauce has body, but is light and not too thick.
