in a clay or cast iron saucepan or in modern Teflon pots, put the 80 cc. oil and brown the meat cut into small cubes, add the chopped onion, diced tomato, paprika, bay leaves, a teaspoon of sugar and a quarter of a liter of hot water.

cook over low heat and covered for about forty minutes, then add the two sweet potatoes, the two potatoes and the pumpkin all cut into cubes, the three corn cut into thin slices and the peach apricots cut into quarters, salt, pepper.

continue cooking until vegetables are done.

presentation:
the result should be a somewhat soupy stew. It is accompanied with boiled white rice.

  • 1 kilo of lean meat like boneless needle
  • shoulder (beef or tenderloin)

  • 150 grams of dried peaches soaked

  • 250 cc. hot water
