Preparation

Heat the oil and sauté the crushed garlic, onion and minced peppers. Add the meats and ham and cook for 10 minutes, stirring so that it does not stick and is well mixed. Add the chopped olives, the other ingredients and let it cook for 20 minutes over medium heat. If it tends to dry out, add a little water to it, without losing its consistency. You can put a few tablespoons of sweet orange juice instead of water, which makes the vegetables included better absorb the flavor of the whole.
This dish can be combined with white rice, fried ripe plantains, and lettuce and watercress salad.
