Preparation
Put all the ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, cover the pan, reduce the flame of the stove and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed. Release the rice with a fork and serve hot.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of needle rice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 3 teaspoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of dark raisins
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 1/2 cup (360 ml) of water
