Preparation

put the coconut water in a measuring jug and add enough water to make four cups. bring to the fire in a saucepan and when it boils, add the rice.

let it cook and once the rice is tender add the condensed milk, the fresh coconut and the salt, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.

once the preparation takes point and thickens, remove from heat. add the vanilla and rum.

serve in candy bowls and let cool completely. Garnish with grated chocolate icing and chocolate wafers.

  • the water of a fresh coconut
  • three-quarters cup fresh, grated coconut
  • a jar of condensed milk
  • a tablespoon of rum (optional)
  • a teaspoon of vanilla
  • water in necessary quantity
  • a pinch of salt
