Preparation

Put one tablespoon of oil or butter in a pot,
Cut the onion into small pieces and put it in the pot too,
Add the sauerkraut,
Add some salt or spices,
Heat up, then reduce heat and stew for about 60 to 90 minutes, move the sauerkraut from time to time,
Add some water.
