Preparation

Pasta:
Heat the oven over medium heat. Open the pastry, thin as a pastry. Divide into rectangles and bake. Bake for 20 minutes. Go checking. When the dough starts to brown, it is ready.

Filling:
Prepare the filling, mixing half the butter, 200 grams of sugar, water and bread crumbs. Add the walnuts and cinnamon. Place over medium heat, until it becomes a paste.

Syrup:
Prepare the syrup by mixing water, honey and sugar in a pan. Bring to low heat until it forms a thick syrup, almost syrup. Reserve.

Final assembly:
First separate the sheets from the dough. Place 2 sheets of dough on the platter and pass a little of the filling. Put some chopped nuts, spread the cinnamon and sprinkle with a little sugar. Place 2 more sheets of dough and repeat this operation, assembling the pie. Finish with a layer of dough. Finally, wet the baklavas with part of the syrup and reserve what is left, to serve alongside.
