combine the powdered sugar with margarine.
the 6 yolks are added one by one, and everything comes together little by little.
In a separate glass, combine all the liquids and add them little by little together with the walnuts and the rest.
Separately beat the whites to the point of snow.
before adding the whites, if necessary, add 1/2 cup of water.
add the beaten egg whites, stirring everything.
when everything is stirred, add the bicarbonate dissolved in three tablespoons of water.
put the mixture in deep floured molds, put in a moderate oven for an hour or so.
when ready let cool and wrap in cellophane.
this recipe gives 2.5 kilos of bread.

  • 1 kg. Of flour,
  • 1/2 kg. of flower sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of royal powder,
  • 1/2 kg. margarine,
  • 6 eggs,
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts,
  • 1 satin of assorted candied fruit 200 gr.
  • 1 cup of raisins,
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves,
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
