the alcayota is peeled and the seeds are removed; it is put to cook in water, once it is cooked, it is put in a cloth and then in a basket to distill.

a syrup is made, when it is not enough to give point, the alcayota is added; it is constantly stirred so that it does not stick. is pulled out when knitted. chopped almonds or walnuts are added.

this is to serve as a dessert on a nice plate or small compotera, even better if you add some nuts.
