cut the cod and place it in a container with eve water, taking care to change the water several times.

remove the cod and cook in clean water, after cooking the cod, shred it.

cut the onions into thin slices and the potatoes into chopsticks as thin as possible, frying them separately in a saucepan.

bring the butter to the heat, to which the flour is added, stirring well.

add the milk, previously boiled, slowly, stirring constantly, and let it cook, continuing to stir with a wooden spoon.

finally, season with salt and pepper and add the cream for cooking, when it acquires a very creamy consistency.

bring the oil to the heat in a frying pan, then add the onion and let it sauté.

as soon as it begins to brown, add the shredded cod to sauté a little.

in a baking dish greased with butter, pour this preparation, placing a layer of potatoes on top.

cover everything with the cream and take it to the oven to get a little color.
