Don't forget that this type of shrimp (gamba) only exists in the south of Portugal and Spain, but you can do it with a medium-sized shrimp

Put the water with the salt, pepper and chilli on the stove.
When it is boiling, put the prawns.
As soon as it boils again, remove it immediately.
In the meantime, 2 liters of cold water with ice and 200 g of salt are reserved.
The prawns are drained from the hot water and immediately put in the water with the ice and salt.
If you want, you can repeat the water with ice and salt.

  • piripiri q.s.
  • 2 liters of water
  • 200 g of salt (100 g per liter of water)
