Preparation

The squash is cooked in pieces, the crust and seeds are removed and it is sifted in a sieve. In a cauldron, brown the chopped onion and add water, salt and the bone for the substance. When it boils, add the squash mixed with the milk, the lard and two tablespoons of corn flour or cornstarch to thicken it.
