Preparation

Soak with water for 15 minutes.

Then drain the sago water and bring it to a boil for 10 to 15 minutes with just water, stirring constantly.

After 15 minutes or when some balls start to become transparent, pour the sago into a colander and wash them to remove the goo resulting from cooking.

Put the wine, grape juice and sugar and 1 cup of water in the pan.

When it starts to boil, add the sago and wait to cook another 15 minutes, until all the balls are transparent.

Place in a container and let cool.

  • 3 cups of red wine
  • 1 cup of whole grape juice
  • sugar to taste
  • 6 cups of water
