Beat the egg whites. add egg yolks, sugar, chopped or ground nuts and flour. mix well. place in a greased pan about 30 cm in diameter. bake in a moderate oven for 1/2 hour. divide the pie in half, fill with egg candy and garnish with meringue and walnuts cut in half. serve with whipped cream separately.
egg candy
bring sugar and water to the fire. boil until you get the yarn point. add the egg yolks, whites beaten in snow, butter and flower water or vanilla. bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until it is released from the bottom of the pan. pour into a plate, let it cool and fill the pie.
