Preparation

To prepare this recipe, we will have to divide the stages of making cod and mayonnaise.

Peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces and in a pan with water, season with salt and let them cook until they are ready.

Cook the 2 pieces of cod in a pan with 300 ml of milk, for 5 to 7 minutes.

Once the potato is cooked, it's time to mash it to a puree.

Gradually add part of the milk you used to cook the cod, season with nutmeg, add 2 tablespoons of butter and beat until creamy.

Reserve the puree.

Cut 2 onions into slices, and place them in a skillet with olive oil.

Also add 3 sliced garlic cloves, salt, 1 bay leaf, pepper, and the milk left over from cooking the cod.

While the onion is cooking, make a garlic mayonnaise.

2nd phase

Break a whole egg and a yolk into a glass, add 2 grated garlic cloves, salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon.

Gradually add 200ml of oil and 200ml of olive oil while grinding everything with the magic wand.

With the mayonnaise ready, turn on the oven at 200ºC and place everything on a platter: the cod in the center, the onion and garlic on top, and the puree around it.

Cover the whole mixture with the mayonnaise, and place the black olives pitted before taking it to the oven to brown, for 15 minutes.

Serve hot and have a good appetite!
