put the beans in a bowl, cover with water and soak for about 8 hours.
After the time of immersion of the beans, drain it, place it in a large pot, cover it again with plenty of water, add the leather and the pig's feet and cook over low heat for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes or until the beans are soft.
then add the green banana, salt and cumin to taste, stir to mix well and cook over medium heat for another 30 minutes.
then add the hogao (reserve a little), the carrot, the pumpkin and the ripe banana and stir with a wooden spoon, continuing to cook, over low heat, until everything is tender.
Finally, distribute the previously reserved hogao over the beans and serve hot, accompanied, if desired, with white rice.
