Preparation

Add the flours in a bowl. Sprinkle the water and rub the flour very well to make it moist but loose.

The other ingredients are added mixing well. (This operation must be done by hand.)

Put water in the couscous and add the mixture, rubbing it with both hands. When you are finished, put on a light foot with a spoon, cover and bring to the heat.
When it starts to smoke through the lid, the couscous has risen and is therefore ready.
Serve in slices when it is hot, cut with a wet knife and serve with honey.

  • 1 packet of the finest corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (optional)
  • honey (optional)
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ½ cup of the finest manioc flour
